I love the system, and the campaign idea is great. But you guys really needed more of a session zero for this group. Three people with that high of charisma and training in the exact same skill sets is not helping anyone, and it shows because of players basically begging to use those skills in place of the ones their character types would actually need. Also, there isn’t a single reason why the scholar wouldn’t have simply called the guards on them when he found out they were pirates.
